Getting amped up...

Hello one and all,

This is my first blog for this trip, and consequently my first blog ever. Carrie and I want to keep all of those we know and love the most in the loop of our giant loop we're about to embark on. I would first like to thank my beautiful wife for all of her insanely hard work in planning this AMAZING trip, all of the rigorous hours on the computer comparing rates for flights and accommodations, and more or less working as a full time travel agent for the better part of the past 12 months. The year previous she planned our wedding and I guess her full time job as event designer and partner for her company, cb-events, as well as her numerous odd jobs she picks up constantly, was just not keeping her busy enough! So, here we are...4 days from departure to Hawaii and beyond! This was ALL made possible by Carrie's relentless devotion to travel, challenging the boundaries of sanity, and keeping this far less traveled southern boy inspired and on his toes! I cannot describe the excitement and anticipation we both have for our journey to see our dear friend Bonnie in Hong Kong, as well as all of the wonderful places we will be visiting on the way there and back. Many more blogs to come from far more exciting places than where I am now (the office at Devereaux's). Hope you enjoy our posts half as much as we will enjoy posting them!
